Summary

Proposal

Wikinews should start with Data Driven Journalism.

Motivation

Data Driven Journalism is the answer to Open Data and since diving into lots of data could be done by croudsourcing, Data Driven Journalism could be a new way for doing Wikinews. Data Driven Journalism got a big push as the British Government published data.gov.uk.

Another positive fact is, that such news are no copy and paste and there are sources to reference.
