[edit] Motivation
I am somewhat disappointed by Wikisource. What is the point of converting an archived book that is available, for example, in .PDF format to a Wiki version if we do not provide the people with explanation how to read this text? What is the point of translating every equation into Tex if the mathematical language is out of fashion and difficult to read to today's reader.
For example: Maxwell's Treatise on Electricity and Magnetism
