The scientific pages are very complicated and often a higher knowledge is required to understand them.But there are many children who read these articles for further information but can't understand anything more than the initial paragraph.

Simplified pages should be available without the complex equations and derivations in which the matter should be explained with a little less detail.
[edit] Motivation
I have been using Wiki for years and only after learning the higher mathematics i am able to understand them. I believe that there are many more students who view wiki for additional information but are unable to understand.
[edit] Potential Costs
cost shouldn't be much as most of the pages are contributed by the people.
- Rewriting most articles except those related to sport and popular culture
- Loss of a large proportion of our article writers who either can't or won't dumb down their writing
