Proposal talk:Remove duplicated contents

From Strategic Planning

Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 01:12, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Articles get too long

Articles get broken into separate entries when they get too long. As such it's necessary to duplicate some material since we don't know where a user is going to land first. And as for "Why couldn't all the editors meet in the same article? Isn't that the idea behind NPOV?" I can only say, er, NO! NPOV has nothing to do with duplication of content and I'm thoroughly confused as to why anyone would think so. --Bodnotbod 18:57, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
