Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 01:12, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

I think that this proposal will have massive impact on end-users, because (I suppose) everybody uses dictionaries in everyday life. -- Andrew Krizhanovsky 10:13, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

Sounds like a great idea

A++ for furthering open information. We have exportable databases of much of the information on WikiMedia wikis, so it couldn't be that hard to also have exportable spelling dictionary and language-translation files. --Lyc. cooperi 08:37, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

http://wiktionary-export.nataraj.su/

http://wiktionary-export.nataraj.su/ - Is my project dedicated to exporting wiktionary into StarDict, and other standalone dictionary files. Now it works with Russian part of wiktionary and can export Any-to-Russian dictionaries. But I am going to extend it to exporting dictionaries from others parts of wiktionary
