Unless you have otherwise untold powers of veto then your support is rather irrelevant. Perhaps if you have a preference you should state it instead of engaging in this grandstanding.
For myself, I think the British Museum has shown the way [1]. Perhaps other museums/institutions could be approached in a similar manner to reward those articles that reflect their interests (in a non-POV way of course).
