Josh Weinstein first started using the Internet at his University in 1990 and had his first job making web pages and using the new Javascript (v0.9) scripting language in 1993. He moved to Silicon Valley in 1996 when he landed a job as an early employee in a company which provided online maps, yellow pages, driving directions, and store locators. The company went IPO in 2000 and was acquired by Microsoft in 2002. Josh has been living in China since 2002 with his wife.

His interests include Open Source projects, User Generated Content, Agile Software Development, Chaos Math (Dynamical Systems Theory), and spotting global trends.

The China Task Force is my first time working on a Task Force for Wikipedia. I'd be interested to know if we could use methodologies from Scrum [1] or the more general OpenAgile [2] to help organize and prioritize the work.
