  • Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton (on meta) , As I said to Philippe:
    • I'm volunteer of OTRS , Wikipedia-pt since 2007, Wikimedia Commons 2006-2007, Wikibooks. Currently I am committed to the project of the Wikimedia Brasil and Strategic Planning, I have studied free licenses. I know very well the vision of the Wikimedia Foundation, even had personal conversations with Jimmy Wales and the Kul Takanao Wadhwa. But never wanted to be an administrator of Wikipedia-pt then I have no specific expertise in this area. Yet this is a project I would like to support, and I'm Brazilian, so I know Portuguese, and I can give support in this area, my time zone is different :D and I can help streamline the processes. Done

  • WereSpielChequers I'm an admin on EN wiki but seem to bå spending more and more of my time here at the moment. I suspect we'll need some history merges done here soon. WereSpielChequers 19:45, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Of course. I'm adding the sysop bit momentarily. Done -- Philippe 15:26, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
  • User:Kwj2772 - I am an admin on Commons, kowikiquote. I've seen many abnormal translations in this wiki. To clean up, adminship is necessary. Thank you. Kwj2772 10:45, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

  • User:Bletilla I'd like to translate "We have some questions that need answers. Can you help?" at MediaWiki:Sitenotice/ja into Japanese but I can't do it because "no permission". How can I get it? --Bletilla 21:05, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
I've left a note on your user talk page for more information; however, regardless of that, you certainly qualify for admin here if you'd like it... -- Philippe 16:02, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
I forgot the response to you. I'd like to be an admin but I don't know how I can do it.--Bletilla 23:25, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Hi, Innv - thanks! What languages do you speak and at what levels? That could be really necessary... Thanks! ~Philippe 01:57, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi! My languages: Russian - native/N; English intermediate (level 2) and also Ukrainian, Makedonian, Serbian - basic (level 1). Regards, – Innv | d | m: 07:32, 18 January 2010 (UTC) Done

  • User:Jamesofur Mostly for maintenance and vandalism control with the high visibility at the moment because of the central notice and keeping an eye out over here anyway. An alternative would be to allow us to put the project into the Global Sysop group, won't need it then :) (it is not under the global sysops now because it has too many admins to be in automatically). Jamesofur 23:16, 30 June 2010 (UTC) Done
  • User:Diego Grez Yeah, would like to help with vandalism cleanup, much like as I do on MediaWiki.org. Diego Grez 00:39, 1 July 2010 (UTC) Done
  • User:Avicennasis To help out with page deletion and vandalism. :) Also a member of SWMT. I am an admin on ScoWp, in addition to being trusted with other rights on other WMF Wikis. Languages: en-N, simple-N, eo-2, sco-2, he-1. Thanks for your consideration. Avicennasis 15:53, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
  • User:Mentifisto - same reason as Jamesofur really, temporarily while highly susceptible. It would be more convenient than tagging etc. (which I've just been doing) - I'm also often online when the US is asleep. In addition, are there any templates to inform users of the project's scope? Mentifisto 09:39, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

  • User:KrebMarkt With the Call for Action, non senses, spams, out of subject stuffs are heavy raining. Checking the Recent changes gives me Facepalm. I'm an old time participants of the Wikimedia Strategic Planning, keeping the store open even during the lowest attendance periods. --KrebMarkt 06:32, 4 July 2010 (UTC)

  • User:Hoo man While being in the IRC channel for the Small Wiki Monitoring Team I'm seeing ongoing vandalism over here. Because of this I would like to have the sysop rights for fighting vandalism. This would be may first sysop on an WMF wiki and I thing it would be a nice way to get into it.
Further I'm interested in the topic and I think, that many of the proposals over here are interesting and some could even save me a lot of time (especially the global watchlist).
My Languages: de-N; en-2; - Hoo man 23:05, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Done Willkommen! ;) Diego Grez 21:38, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Nemo: it-N, en-2. I'm sysop on it.wikiquote and Meta. I've been very active during the proposals submission period, then I had to reduce my activity on Wikimedia projects; in this moment I have a bit more time and I'm reading all the task forces content and so on (as well as recent proposals) so I will submit comments, correct typos, categorize and such as I did previously. I suppose that RC patrolling is not very needed here, but now I need sysop flag to correct/clean up pages that have been protected. Thank you, Nemo 03:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC). Done
  • User:MC10: I would like to continue to fight vandalism here, as I do on enwiki and sometimes mediawiki. MC10 03:50, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
    • My languages are en-N, simple-N, and zh-2. MC10 04:36, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
      • I'm afraid this wiki is not that active anymore. But, considering you try to help wherever you go, and that adminship is not a big deal, consider this request Done. Diego Grez 18:48, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
        • Thanks, Diego Grez. MC10 19:53, 7 November 2010 (UTC)
  • User:The ed17, I'll be around to help with vandalism and the like, e.g. [1]. Regards, Ed [talk] [en] 00:36, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
    • Done by Diego. ~Philippe (WMF) 02:14, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
      • Done Actually that was me Pb :) [2] I left a message on ed's talk page User_talk:The_ed17 to put in a request afterwards for record and consistency . Later. Theo10011 12:35, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
  1. User:Hydriz I am a cross-wiki fighter of vandalism and I would like to help out here due to the persistent vandalism made by vandals. Hydriz 03:38, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

  • User:Teles - pt-N, en-3, es-2. Hello. I'm a global rollbacker, active member of the m:SWMT and a sysop of pt.wikipedia. I think the flag would be useful to stop persistent vandalism.” TeleS (T M @ C G) 01:19, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
  • User:Savh I am a GR, and can help around here a bit. Savh(es) 18:27, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
  • Wikitanvir (bn, en-3) — I'm an active SWMT member, and sysop on there content wikis. I'd love to help this wiki with mostly countervandalism. Thanks for your understanding. — Tanvir • 18:54, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
  • Pmlineditor I can already perform admin tasks with my GS right, just asking this for transparency, so that I can perform local non-emergency admin actions. Regards, Pmlineditor 15:28, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
  • User:Courcelles Admin on enwp, would be useful to be able to handle problems myself. Courcelles 11:13, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
    • Done trusted admin from en.wp. Theo10011 19:24, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
  • Ruy Pugliesi: As an active member of the SWMT, I normally fight against vandalism and tag spam / out-of-scope content for quick-deletion on several projects (verify), and I am often on IRC in the related channels: cvn-sw, cvn-simplewikis. Once have time to patrol this wiki, I think it would be quit usefull to have admin rights here, because this permission should make general maintenance, as countervandalism and quick-deletion, easier and faster. As you can see, I have a lot of anti-vandalism experience as administrator on Portuguese Wikipedia (verify - contribs) and rollbacker on enwiki (verify - contribs), eswiki (verify - contribs), eswikt (verify - contribs) and simplewiki (verify - contribs). I've been nominating pages for deletions and reverting vandalisms here. So, I believe I can help a bit more having admin rights. Ruy Pugliesi 19:18, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
I really think you should engage with the local community more to determine local standards... after a short period of active editing, I'm sure you'll be fine. ~Philippe (WMF) 20:12, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Ruy has been active on strategy wiki and Meta. He's familiar with sysop tools on another project. I believe he'll make a good admin here. Theo10011 20:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Quite right, and my apologies. I withdraw my objection. ~Philippe (WMF) 20:37, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

  • Beria - I'm an active editor since 2007, founding and board member of WMPT (since Sep 2009), one of the participants in WMBR chapter proposal, OTRS member, sysop in br.wikimedia.org and wikimedia.pt (chapters wikis), Commons and test wiki. I'm also involved in Iberocoop. My language skills: pt-N, en-2, es-2 (i also can understand French and Italian in written form, but can't speak those languages). • Done Per request, helping out with main-page and imports. Theo10011 16:03, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
  • User:Axpde - I'm global sysop and already began to clean up some outdated pages or to harmonize some templates (see {{Sister projects}} and alike). Although local sysop is redundant to my global flag I'd like to have the "local legitimation" as well, particularly I'd like to request bureaucrat as well, as there are several rather inactive crats on strategy wiki. Regards Axpde 00:08, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
    • Done Per request. Theo10011 16:40, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
  • User:Ebe123 – I would help with deleting. I am an reviewer on en.wikibooks, autopatroller on meta, bureaucrat on incubator, and finally, rollbacker on en.wikipedia. I am member of the SWMT, and will combat vandalism, spamming and other activities as such. My languages are fr, en, frc-2 (that I learned on incubator), and it-1. I know how to set up Abuse Filters and would be glad to do so. ~~EBE123~~ talkContribs 09:49, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
