Proposal talk:Wikimedia Asia Project

The proposal sometimes says Wikimedia Asia Pacific and other times just Wikimedia Asia - which is correct? If the former, does this include the Australian chapter? It's hard to tell when the mailing list archives are private. Is there any reason the discussion can't be open to anyone to read? Angela 00:50, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually we already contacted the Australia and New Zealand as a part of Wikimedia Asia project. But there are still somebody that are arguing that the name should include Pacific or not, so it still has a room for discussion. For the privacy of the mailing list, some chapters think the mailing list may involve some internal information that they are not willing to open to public, so they would like to keep that in private.
