Editor Trends Study
Dear Drdee, Hi. Nice to meet you
Here is a background:
- I was in other wikis like the others, felt wikipedia is in a threat, and decided to solve it
- But they were so few to do it.
- I wanted to get people there, so I came here.
- But users were so optimistic. so I wrote a negative article to let them know.
- I waited for answers, but I realized that this wiki has not many users
- I asked an admin[1] to spread the word. but he KNEW the challenge and asked for solution.
- I found hot solutions like EasyTranslate, Wikaboom, Joyn, ...
- I wrote 11 pages (A4, one sided) about hem. yet to be typed, visualized and uploaded.
Like to help? you can't Imagine how useful it is if you proveide numericall evidence to Editor Trends Study.
You research, I propose, and combine it with other proposals till I get a featured, active one. then we'll just need more programmers for them to get it done. where to find them?
If I upload solution it takes no more than announcement to bring a flood of people to see your report and my suggestions. but this is out only shot. If we don't do it clean and flawless people will come and go, then everything is over. but if we do, some of them will stay with us and we can start a group work that might change the future. we NEED programmers.
Notes:
- ↑ I don't know why, but I'm too shy. No website, blog, phone, skype, chat, mail, facebook, community, ... This has caused me not to be able to continue when people know me, and not to talk about myself. But I can talk about WORK. and we can WORK together. Because I CAN act.
Hi Saeed,
That sounds great, I think it would be a good idea to move your content to your userpage so it's clear that this is your contribution or to leave it at the Village Pump because now the same information is at multiple spots. What do you think? Best, Diederik
You are right about one thing in two places.
It was in my user-page. Theo said user-page is for introducing oneself and asked me to take it to Village Pump to see if it confronts disagreement. It was approved. so it should go the right place.
- Village pump is not bad
- Wikimedia-pedia seems better
- Editor trend study is the subject, but not sub-paged like that
So the best thing is to merge it with the study with "wiki standards". It'll just take a while for me to find out how.
Thanks.
Why don't you create a separate proposal at List of proposals as User:Theo10011 suggests?
- I'm working on it (about 30 hours until now)
- I't more a research than a call for action.
- Current proposals are good. they must only be upgraded
