Jeanne Dietsch is a polymath MOM, "Mother of Motivity," the robotic "brain" used in autonomous robots in factories, hospitals and warehouses around the world. Formerly CEO & co-founder, with Bill Kennedy (computer scientist) of MobileRobots Inc, Jeanne Dietsch bootstrapped MobileRobots from a kitchen-table start-up to a manufacturer of thousands of intelligent mobile robots and a global leader in robotic bases for commercial and industrial robotic applications, acquired by Adept Technology in June, 2010, Dietsch is on the board of the IEEE Robotics & Automation Society's Industrial Activities Board, blogs for IEEE Spectrum and writes a quarterly column for Robotics & Automation magazine. She serves on various review boards and helped found the Robotics Technology Consortium. MobileRobots Inc was her third start-up. She also founded ActivMedia Research, the first company to publish a market study of e-commerce in 1995, months after the Internet first opened to commercial operations and owned a previous PC market research firm with Pat McGovern and Robert Farmer.

Dietsch is now heading onto new investigations in matters of scale, perspective, TOE and structuring global meta-knowledge, learning and education systems.
