Each page will have a short description of the topic in its metadata that can be displayed when hovering over links to the article from other pages

Pages will have a short description of the entire article stored (for example, the page for Bleach's description could be "A bleach is a chemical that removes colors or whitens, often via oxidation.") When hovering over a link, its description will be displayed next to the mouse.

Sounds like a good idea, as long on the size limit is kept small. It would make surfing and searhcing easier, and avoid clicking on links to similar names articles on a different subject.
