Hi Wikimedia Brasil!
We are looking for Wikipedia editors in English, Portugese, or both to participate in a research study to observe and understand Wikipedia editors' current reading and editing practices, with an emphasis on mobile devices (but to also include desktop and laptop computers and other devices used in their editing and reading processes). We have partnered with IBOPE and CETIC.br to carry out this project.
Your participation would be 2 or potentially 3 part: 1) Complete short online homework assignments, writing about yourself or your daily habits 2) Participate in a 2 hour face to face interview to be conducting in Sao Paulo, Salvador, and Porto Alegre in early June) and potentially 3) participate in a workshop or meetup with the Wikipedia team (optional). The Wikimedia Foundation discourages any research agency from offering monetary incentives for participation, but we can assure you an interesting conversation, excitement for Wikipedia and its mission, our gratitude, and Wikipedia t-shirts and journals as a token of our appreciation. Your participation would be extremely valuable to us and will help shape the strategy and development of the Wikipedia mobile properties and experience, but more importantly it will help us better understand the more specific needs of editors like you to further support this process.
In addition to Wikipedia editors, we'll also be speaking with Wikipedia readers while in Brasil in our efforts to meet our strategic objectives of increasing participation in Brasil. We have recently conducted similar work in India and will be conducting a similar study in the US later this summer. For more on this work, please see here (English only) [1].

Estamos procurando editores da Wikipédia em inglês, português, ou ambas, para participar numa pesquisa em que pretendemos observar e compreender as atuais práticas de leitura e edição dos editores da Wikipédia, com ênfase em aparelhos móveis (mas incluindo também computadores de mesa e portáteis, assim como outros aparelhos usados nos processos de edição e leitura).
