Summary

There is a serious problem with license issues with articles transfered from other sources than wikipedia and translations from other languages. If the user doesn't write in the comment field that the article is translation from another project it must be marked in the article or on the discussion page, both of those aren't really good.

Proposal

Add the ability for administrators (or even beaurocrats) to: a)edit comments on various versions of the article or: b)add a special source comment to edits

Motivation

  • License complience
  • Creating one good way for handling translation license argues

Key Questions

  • Is it possible?
