    Summary

    The name Wikipedia is a mustang word. Wiki being Hawaiian for Quicky,and Pedia being Greek for children, and it's an onomatopoeia for Encyclopedia, which in English, means general information education.

    Proposal

    Etymologically and Significantly better English words for Wikipedia, or, for that matter, for Encyclopedia, would be Knowledger, Infinite Info, OmniScience, Clairvoyance, Kindergarten, Kirkgard, Word Library, Circumverity, Vironology, Enkukliology, Ring School, Groundround, Round Table, Lexicon.
