Identify editors who donated during the annual funding drive.

Create a small icon to appear next to the usernames of any editor who donated during the annual funding drive. This icon would appear wherever the username does, such as history and talk pages. In addition, a small banner would mark their user/talk/contrib pages.

The icon might be a small W, as to say "Friend of Wikimedia".

Clicking on the icon would presumably take you to an explanatory page.

    Warm fuzzy feelings.

    Key Questions

Would this be offputting or even somewhat offensive to editors who donate freely of their time but don't have spare cash, or donate money by buying reference books for their research?

    Potential Costs

    Some minimal software development.
