Summary

To increase the standing of Wikipedia articles in the academic and similar world by means of peer reviews, or similar.

Proposal

Encourage/elicit ties with existing academic bodies such as Berkeley, Oxford, Sorbonne, Munich universities, etc. Encourage article fact checking and correct referencing by article author peers, such as is done for scientific and other articles. Once an article is peer reviewed it can then be semi-locked (not sure about how this would be achieved) to ensure credibility. The article would then list the peer reviewers.

Motivation

To gain more credibility in the real world.

Key Questions

Not sure.

Potential Costs

Low.
