Summary
My idea is that the web changes much fastly. From plain text pages, just to read, to new sites with photos and music, to web 2.0 with interaction between authors and users.
Proposal
...so my proposal is to go toward a multimedia encyclopedia, without losing the present contents, but increasing the articles with a talking version (good also for the dumb) and, where is possible, also with videos, series of photos etc.
Motivation
Because this is the main internet trend: more fruible content and more spectacular impact. It's like to pass from radio to TV or from the book to the cinema!
Key Questions
One of the main question is if the broadband technology is already developed enough to allow this evolution. I think yes!
Potential Costs
None. Or, better: for the developers of wiki system this will mean more work initially, but after no more!
