Proposal talk:3D Museums
3D Museums? Are you nuts? Wikipedia provides all the museum experience that I ever need. If I EVER wanted to go to a museum, I would have my grandfather drive for an hour to take me to train station and sit on a train for an hour to get to a national museum (Royal Ontario Museum). what exactly?
WHat exactly do you mean by "3D-Museum", do you want to take pictures of real museums and show them as a 3D-construct, where you could run through or do you want to give the wikipedia a 3D environment, so to say a "fictional Museum" that only exists in the internet, like a tag cloud, where you would find the nicest articles about some science field like Physics in a different "room" than geography? Anyway: a nice proposal. To be thought about, both of the two things I mentioned. Jakov 12:33, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- They probably mean a real museum that you can see as 3D construct online. I prefer my Wikipedia over some fancy "bell and whistles" virtual museum any day; even if I could see any of the museums that Japan has about video games. GVnayR 23:33, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
