Proposal talk:Comment function

From Strategic Planning

May be more useful it would be to allow users to discuss wiki-pages in blogs and social networks by adding integration with leading service providers. Proposal:Add_user_comments_possibility

Another thing

The talk pages already exist for people to comment and ask questions, this proposal would add another thing that needed maintenance and patrol (to remove spam. insults, etc) but not actually improve the functionality of Wikipedia. Signposting the talk page and improving the UI would fulfil most of the objectives of this proposal. --Alchemist Jack 18:08, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Comments section may be per header

More efficient commenting could be implemented by adding "discuss" link next to the "edit" link. This should bring to the section in the discussion page that is named same way as the section in the main article text. Such feature would make comments more structured. I would not add anything to the maintenance, leaving patrols just to care about the content of the talk page same way they are doing now. AudriusA 07:51, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
