a search for "p2p wikipedia" shows papers from the developers of Tribal, they claim to have already achieved the goal of distributing HTML pages via p2p networking, and thus claim to have developed a peer-to-peer wiki.

literally all of the "distribute wikipedia" proposals are either identical, or their goals are met by the proposals that propose true peer-to-peer distribution of wikimedia data. for example: those proposals recommending backups be extended to user-controllable areas (e.g. "Paris") are automatically satisfied by a p2p distributed wikipedia where users make queries for the word "Paris".
