Proposal talk:Platform Centric

From Strategic Planning

User sorting

This proposal would restrict information access depending on which software is used. Also, operating system says something about the people that use it so such grouping at the end will produce rather different articles on socially sensitive topics. If this would be accepted, people would need at least two computers at time just for getting neutral point of view from Wikipedia. I think that the current cross platform approach is more reasonable. Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:14, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
