Don't be discouraged

Sorry your experience at Wikipedia has been so bad. But don't be discouraged. Look at the welcome page and read about Wikipedia's policies a bit. It sounds like you've already read the policies on external links. If you have links to add it might be worth discussing them on the article's talk page and explain why you feel the link should be included. Then, when you add a link, you can put in the edit summary "see talk page about this link". I hope your editing experience is better in future. --Bodnotbod 13:12, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

There are ways to report rude behaviors from administrators, f.ex. Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests, Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal and especially Wikipedia:Wikiquette alerts. They're of course applicable to administrators too. It is hard to navigate and find all relevant links and information on Wikipedia – that is a real problem, but administrators shall not be rude, I've examined by a days browsing, how requests for adminship are granted, and when a new administrator candidate is to be elected, his/her former behavior is scrutinized in painful detail. I'm not sure that this editor was complaining about an admin, it sounded more likely to be another editor. Most of the templating and warning of newbies is done by other editors, not admins. WereSpielChequers 19:37, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Impact?
