Proposal talk:Wikimedia Foundation 'bot adoption' programme

Why?

I'm not sure what problem if any that this proposal is seeking to address. I could understand a proposal to adopt useful bots of retired users, or a program to spread useful bots across multiple wikis, but I don't see this proposal as doing this. Instead we have some sort of central control process as a reverse of our otherwise decentralised community. WereSpielChequers 08:05, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
