What makes someone stay as a long-term contributor (e.g., 5 years) vs. a short-term contributor (e.g, 5 months)?
- How volunteers are treated has a lot to do with it. 99.56.139.186 07:33, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Staff protecting the categorization in a way that implies ending anonymous editing would improve content makes me want to contribute in different ways. In particular, I am now encouraged to point out staff errors rather than develop the most highly rated proposals. 98.210.193.221 17:51, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
- Your point has been made. You disagree with the way volunteers categorize things. In this you were given many opportunities to influence consensus and were unable to do so. I actually agree with you that ending anonymous edits would not help, but your dogged determination that it must be categorized in exactly your method has become disruptive, particularly with messages like this one. Please stop. -- Philippe 18:04, 22 September 2009 (UTC)
