I am an Englishman now resident in Haikou, Hainan Province PRC where I have lived for the past four years. My main job in a tour company but I also do translation work for the municipal and provincial governments as well as writing fiction and non-fiction books. I have a 25 year background in the software industry and have been involved with the World Wide Web since its inception. I am an avid sinophile and one of the editors of the CC-EDICT free Chinese-English dictionary project (www. cc-cedict.org).
