A remainder, a question & a suggestion

As expected both Eekim and Philippe retired honorably from Strategic Planning wiki thus we are now on our own.

With the re-organization, you heard of Wikimedia recruiting, and the upcoming fundraising, i'm still wondering if there is still anyone from the Foundation is watching this wiki.

That said, i want to mention a rather interesting late proposal concerning small wikis: Proposal:SEO Market and Contributor Funnel.

We all know how difficult it was to formulate proposals for small wikis so i can only encourage people to give this one a shot.

I'm still here informally. This wiki was my baby, I check in on it occasionally. If there's something you think I should particularly see, always feel free to email me. philippewikimedia.org.

It might be useful if you, or someone, could lend some clarity on the Main Page about the upshot of the strategic planning initiative. It currently says that participants "developed a five-year Strategic Plan," but the link points to a "draft document" page. Would it be possible to feature the actual plan document that was produced, if any, and to provide some follow-up information about board action in receiving, adopting, or otherwise acting upon the plan produced by or informed by this process?

Just a thought, because I often stumble across situations like this where, for someone visiting a wiki project or discussion, particularly a wide-ranging one such as this, it is difficult to discern the end result. One could easily get the impression that it just petered out, as sometimes happens, but I gather that some sort of result actually was produced.

The final document is in production right now - as soon as it's done, I'm sure it will be posted (and if nobody else does, I will). It requires Board sign off and printing, of course. :)
