    Consider use of Apache Jackrabbit GQL.

    Proposal

    There are different proposals concerning databases and query of structured data. The Apache Jackrabbit GQL query language could be used for navigation of databases and query of data.

    Motivation

    • The language is simple but useful and comes with a software package that would be available with the Apache libraries.[1]

    • Is the language powerful enough?
    • Is extension of the language towards conceivable future goals sensible?
