Summary

It should be the leader wikipedia office in Latin America and should represent all Latin American countries

Proposal

It should be a connection between Latin American wikipedia users and authors and Wikipedia headquarters.

Motivation

Have easier access to proposals as well as create specific contents and solve specific issues in Latin America.

Key Questions

  • How would this office relate to other Latin American organizations such as in Brazil and Argentina?
  • Giving this organisation some sort of lead for Latin America is a new level for Wikimedia between the national chapter level and the foundation. What would this level do and would similar organisations be created elsewhere such as a lead for Arabic countries?

Potential Costs

They should be low, since the Mexican peso is a low cost currency (MXP).
