Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:19, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think the number of mexican contributors in the Wikipedia community and the importance of Mexico in the spanish edition of Wikipedia is not proportional to their actual presence as a foundation or as a communuty with a external representation (eg to issue press releases or conducts public relations) and beyond, in its relationship with educational or official institutions . Not a bad idea, in debt make this task will be come a positive impact on the Wikipedia and in the expansion of content emerged from Mexico to the Wikimedia projects. Although the main obstacles I see are two: there's not sufficient organization of Mexican contributors to form a chapter, and there is no clear intention to do so. --Ivanmartinez 16:57, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
