Fighting fire with flames

The upload system on Commons may be somewhat convoluted and it certainly could be made more straightforward. But that's not what this proposal is about. Instead, it suggests to make things much more complicated, by creating different categories of uploads. This will confuse new uploaders even more than the current systems does, without any benefits that I could recognize. --Latebird (talk) 09:31, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
