Proposal talk:Have Wikipedia count down to December 21, 2012

From Strategic Planning

I'm not sure I'd describe this as strategic, but perhaps this could best be resolved if someone wrote a userbox that interested editors could place on their user pages. WereSpielChequers 16:37, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That would be a better idea. Not everyone is into 2012 and we wouldn't like to offend anybody. GVnayR 23:29, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Impact?

I watched the TV show Nostradamus 2012 this January on the History Channel and it bothered me. Wikipedia always cheers me up and I use it everyday. If there was a countdown to this alledged doomsday date of December 21, 2012 at 11:11 GMT, I would be happy because I would wake up after 6:11 EST (my time zone) and find out that we're still here.
