Proposal talk:Mirror Citizendium.org, WikiHow.com, and FreeBase.com

From Strategic Planning

I think the gist of this proposal is great, and shouldn't necessarily be limited to those wikis. I am concerned about WikiHow, however, because of its non-commercial license. This is particularly relevant since WikiHow competes with the how-to part of Wikibooks.--ragesoss 21:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was unaware that there is a How-To part of Wikibooks. It is very sparse compared to WikiHow.com. Perhaps opening discussions between the Foundation and WikiHow.com on relicensing for commercial use allowance and bidirectional mirroring by content sharing would be even more appropriate than simple mirroring? 75.55.199.5 01:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Freebase is in large part structured Wikipedia data; they are sort of a mirror of us. -- Phoebe 03:17, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Veropedia

Anyone know when http://veropedia.org is coming back? 99.60.1.164 16:29, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
