Proposal talk:Motley's Crew Wikipedia

From Strategic Planning

I think you want http://wikia.com , http://wikispaces.com , or the like. 99.25.114.234 19:21, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This project is suitable for Wikia... but for a Wikipedia version? Bisbis talk 02:33, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't tell if this is parody or not. 81.144.182.242 11:29, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Motley's Crew may a parody on everyday life but the Wiki won't be. However, I simply don't have time to create a Wiki from scratch. If someone were to make this Motley's Crew Wiki and tell me about it on "My Talk" page on either Wikimedia Strategic Planning or English Wikipedia, I would strongly consider being a part of this project. Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Legal issues

Uploading scanned comic strips doesn't sound legal in the slightest. Even if they're out of print, lawsuits are still a risk. Bearchildofdeath 14:29, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Are we going to wait about 60-70 years for these images to be public domain under U.S. law in order for them to be on the hypothetical site? No way! That knowledge could be completely lost by then. GVnayR 20:19, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How does one vote that this is a terrible idea?

Call my vote here, please drop this idea. Thanks. 217.202.107.138 14:22, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
