- I'm not an expert for Arabic countries but I would guess that distributing computers to schools is a good opportunity. A project run by the Wikimedia Foundation wouldn't have to aim for saturation of demand, of course. --Fasten (Wikinews: Aktion Deutschland Hilft asks for donations after the earthquake in Indonesia) 16:51, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- WikiTV content viewable on mobile phones might be a suitable strategy, especially if other channels pick up the content (YouTube, TV stations). The mobile phones with sufficient graphics probably haven't reached these markets yet but obviously will do so. --Fasten (Wikinews: Aktion Deutschland Hilft asks for donations after the earthquake in Indonesia) 16:59, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
- Target the United Arab Emirates (for instance) for cooperations with schools; there are many potential contributors with a sufficient standard of living. --Fasten (Wikinews: Aktion Deutschland Hilft asks for donations after the earthquake in Indonesia) 17:13, 21 October 2009 (UTC)
