Do we want to use email for discussions? We can have a separate mailing list for the Arabic strategy task force. Or would it be good to post questions on the Arabic Wikipedia mailing list, so that others can give input? or some combination of the two? Or would using the talk page here be sufficient?

For me "some combination of the two" is good idea.

I think the arabic wikipedia mailing list is sufficient. If we see later a need in a seperate mailing list we can start one then. --Histolo2 11:15, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

I would far rather that the discussion happen here, on the wiki, if at all possible. Can we use the task force's talk page for that?

Another vote from me on some combination of the two, with the primary discussion happening here and with links to relevant conversations that happen on the mailing list.

I prefer here too, we can send an invitation the Arabic mailing list linking to the discussions here...

I agree

Here is fine, though definitely notify people on the Arabic mailing list and invite them to participate here.
