Please note: this is not a "first come, first served" system. If volunteers have particularly needed skills, they may be made sysop before people who volunteered prior to them. Hint: tell us what you can do (languages, experience), because that helps us prioritize!

Yes, but some things are not translated, are protected and also that translatewiki only, translates the interface, others (pages, discussion) no. White Master King 02:15, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Hi white master king. I dont see edits on strategy from you, I would like to see you become familiar with strategy wiki and make more edits here before I consider your request. I welcome your help with translations, you can do that without sysop flag. I would leave your request open for now, and hope you become a little more active first. Please feel free to ping me again when you feel you have been active enough and I will reconsider your request. Thanks and please keep up the good work. Theo10011 11:15, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Ok, then edit. :) White Master King 11:21, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

  • User:.snoopy. I could help with maintance, protected templates/pages, cleaning up and fighting vandalism. I'm a Bureaucrat and sysop on meta and simple english wikipedia sysop on it.wiki. --.snoopy. 12:28, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
My languages: it-N,en-2 --.snoopy. 18:10, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
Hi .snoopy. - Thanks for volunteering! Please stick around and engage with the users on this wiki so that we know you have a feel for the community norms. Once we've seen how you fit in, I'll happily review you for sysop. ~Philippe (WMF) 18:12, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
ok, thanks a lot --.snoopy. 18:17, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
  • User:Vibhijain I am a temporary sysop {for 3 months, trying to be permanent}, IP Block Exempt and the third largest contributor to Sanskrit Wikipedia. I am a Online Volunteer of Wikimania 2011 and I can provide help with English, Hindi and Sanskrit. I would like to delete some proposals like Proposal:A Brazilian Portuguese Wikipedia {as it has been canceled by the Language Committee at Meta}, How to add link to the page, etc. and fight Vandalism. Vibhijain 10:15, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for offering to help. As mentioned above you don't need sysop rights to help with translations. Considering your account is barely a couple of months old on Wikimedia projects, I would advise you to be patient and make yourself acquainted with the projects and the community. Thanks. Theo10011 11:23, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
  • User:Waihorace, a global rollbacker and sysop on zh.wikinews. zh-n, yue-n, en-2 can help with Chinese Work (such as Chinese comment translation). --Waihorace 07:19, 5 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi Waihorace, I know you're a GR and I'll be happy to grant you sysops on strategy wiki. But you don't really need sysop rights for translation work. You can do that as an editor. Strategy wiki is also not that active anymore, it's already opted-in for global set under SWMT. I'll be happy to grant you sysops if you would like to help out with general maintenance here. Thanks. Theo10011 19:29, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
I can help with gereral tasks. Thank you for your responce and I am sorry for my late reply. --Waihorace 12:19, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for volunteering, Waihorace. However, as bureaucrats, we would like to inform you that there is no need for new sysops currently. We are not turning down your request, but just putting it on hold until it is really needed at another time. Thanks again. --Hydriz 13:57, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
I don't completely agree with that. I feel we need all the help we can get, is there any harm in having extra admins as long as they are trusted? Strategy wiki might get more active later. Theo is however correct that translators don't need admin privileges. Tempodivalse [talk] 19:45, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
  • User:TBloemink, rollbacker and reviewer on en.wikipedia and reviewer and autopatrol on simple.wikipedia. I'd like to become administrator here to help out with general maintenance, cleaning up and fighting vandalism (as member of the SWMT I see the recent changes through the IRC channel). Also this would be a great project to get used to sysop tools on WMF wiki's. My languages are nl-n and en-4. With best regards, TBloemink 08:24, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
I really think you should engage with the local community more to determine local standards... after a short period of active editing, I'm sure you'll be fine. ~Philippe (WMF) 20:12, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Feel free to re-apply later TBloemink. :) Theo10011 20:54, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

I would help with deleting. I am an reviewer on en.wikibooks, autopatroller on meta, bureaucrat on incubator, and finally, rollbacker on * User:Katarighe, I am member of the SWMT on meta-wiki, and will combat vandalism, spamming and other activities as such. My languages are fr-2, en, simple, de-2, es-2 and nl-4. I know how to set up Abuse Filters and track down the spammers. Regards. --Katarighe 15:35, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Nope, you won't get any buttons. What did I say to you earlier? I'm sorry I have to say this, but if you continue requesting tools on every wiki you see, I think I'll need to block you (and that's something I don't want to do). So *PLEASE* stop now. Trijnstel 22:12, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

But never wanted to be an administrator of Wikipedia-pt then I have no specific expertise in this area. Yet this is a project I would like to support, and I'm Brazilian, so I know Portuguese, and I can give support in this area, my time zone is different :D and I can help streamline the processes. Done

  • User:Jamesofur Mostly for maintenance and vandalism control with the high visibility at the moment because of the central notice and keeping an eye out over here anyway. An alternative would be to allow us to put the project into the Global Sysop group, won't need it then :) (it is not under the global sysops now because it has too many admins to be in automatically). • User:Mentifisto - same reason as Jamesofur really, temporarily while highly susceptible. It would be more convenient than tagging etc. (which I've just been doing) - I'm also often online when the US is asleep. In addition, are there any templates to inform users of the project's scope? • User:Hoo man While being in the IRC channel for the Small Wiki Monitoring Team I'm seeing ongoing vandalism over here. Because of this I would like to have the sysop rights for fighting vandalism. This would be may first sysop on an WMF wiki and I thing it would be a nice way to get into it.
Further I'm interested in the topic and I think, that many of the proposals over here are interesting and some could even save me a lot of time (especially the global watchlist).

  • Nemo: it-N, en-2. I'm sysop on it.wikiquote and Meta. I've been very active during the proposals submission period, then I had to reduce my activity on Wikimedia projects; in this moment I have a bit more time and I'm reading all the task forces content and so on (as well as recent proposals) so I will submit comments, correct typos, categorize and such as I did previously. I suppose that RC patrolling is not very needed here, but now I need sysop flag to correct/clean up pages that have been protected. Thank you, Nemo 03:36, 16 August 2010 (UTC). Done

  • Ruy Pugliesi: As an active member of the SWMT, I normally fight against vandalism and tag spam / out-of-scope content for quick-deletion on several projects (verify), and I am often on IRC in the related channels: cvn-sw, cvn-simplewikis. Once have time to patrol this wiki, I think it would be quit usefull to have admin rights here, because this permission should make general maintenance, as countervandalism and quick-deletion, easier and faster. As you can see, I have a lot of anti-vandalism experience as administrator on Portuguese Wikipedia (verify - contribs) and rollbacker on enwiki (verify - contribs), eswiki (verify - contribs), eswikt (verify - contribs) and simplewiki (verify - contribs). I've been nominating pages for deletions and reverting vandalisms here. So, I believe I can help a bit more having admin rights. Ruy Pugliesi 19:18, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
