Summary

Allow upload of flash animations to commons in order to complement text.

Proposal

Flash animations can give a good overview of many topics (how stuff works, how different processes occur etc.) They are more comprehensive and interesting than a plain text. They would be good complement to many articles. We do have gif animations, but they happen to be insufficient and obsolete. Obviously, it don't have to be Flash specifically, if there's a good open-source alternative we could use this one.

Motivation

Making articles easier to understand.

Key Questions

Is there a free alternative for Flash?

Potential Costs

Extra bandwidth and storage space required for these animations p'raps?
