Mention about Wikipedia in between PBS Kids Go television shows


Proposal

The object is to get the youngsters into Wikipedia looking for information instead of contributing to global warming by having their parents drive them to the local library.


Motivation

the need to save fossil fuels, the need to eliminate carbons caused by driving to the local library, the need to develop the next generation of Wikipedians


Key Questions

  • How do we get the PBS Kids characters to use Wikipedia on their shows?
  • How do we motivate children ages 6 to 13 that Wikipedia is better than the local library?
  • Can Wikipedia save the environment someday when people don't have to drive to the local library?
