Proposal talk:Academic web2

From Strategic Planning

This proposal simply looks like Citizendium (Wikipedia is not Citizendium). Nemo 07:29, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Actually no. Expertise is not part of Citizendium. The proposals that try to change Wikipedia into Citizendium are 1) Less_anonymity, 2) Get rid of the global anonymity and the like. This proposal suggest trying something different. A more relevant remark would be that the proposal is hopelessly vague. - Brya 05:17, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There seems to be some interference here with Proposal:Improve interfacing with academia Alexpl 17:24, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to my understanding, Citizendium has both expert and non-expert writers/editors. So I think the comparison is apt.
This proposal seems vaguely spelled out. It could benefit from a little more work. I don't think I agree with the underlying idea, but it's difficult to say, because it's not very clearly expressed. -Peteforsyth 18:41, 23 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Impact?

Some proposals will have massive impact on end-users, including non-editors. Some will have minimal impact. What will be the impact of this proposal on our end-users? -- Philippe 00:04, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion nomination

I just declined this proposal's nomination for deletion since the concern cited is more of a content issue that requires merging, rather than deletion. –Juliancolton | Talk 01:56, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
