What is next?

Is there a deadline for submitting proposals? Will there be voting on which one to materialize first?--Kozuch 15:30, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"WikiChina"

I am an American that has lived in China for 8 years.

This is my call to the world; Stop negatively focusing on China's imperfections, and start creating a positive vision of a global future with China as a key leader.

I am 200% sure that this will make things better for everyone inside and outside of China.

Before I knew about Wiki, it was my vision to provide a free English education to all Chinese. It is my intent to make wiki more widely known and used in China, but this will take some time and patience from everyone.

China is ready to embrace alot of things from the West, but Wiki is possibly a delicate issue...

If you wish to enter China, you need to respect the fact that they are doing the best possible job to manage one of the largest populations in the world.

Unless you have spent a great deal of time in China, you still may not realize this simple truth. ( Some people who have lived here longer than me still fail to grasp this. I think it may be as they have not learned the language and really tried to understand the Chinese. )

Western media seems to me to be so anti-China that the average Joe in West cannot see the real beauty of China and the Chinese people.

No country or government is perfect, and the sooner that Westerner countries realize this, and give China some more respect, the sooner things will open up more.
