Process?

There will be no admonishment :) I made an open call for people to get involved on Village Pump and Kozuch did it. I'd suggest that you do as well. I'll try to find time to go in and add some that I like too.

Surely if I add my favourite proposals then EVERYONE should add their own featured proposals which means ALL proposals would be added ideally. I think this is very misguided. All proposals should be on the list and it should be renamed "random proposal of the day" or something. I'm not going to add any proposals because it would make me look bad on 'recent changes'. I want no part of it as it stands.

<sigh> processes start somewhere. This is a wiki. Anyone who wants can add theirs until we reach a point at which it's unwieldy, and then we'll set up a more concrete process.

Sorry if I'm trying your patience Philippe. I know you're working EXTREMELY hard on strategy and I know you're a fine chap. I only disagree with you on this particular issue [so far :o)]. I wouldn't actually mind "featured" being used on the front page, with a different proposal each day. What I really struggle with is that those chosen articles now have a "featured" banner when someone looks at the proposal. That, to me, seems misleading because there is a fine history of featured content on en:wp and I feel it's almost like a brand that needs to be protected.

Nevertheless, I've made my points on this clear, so I will stop going on about it now. I hope things improve in the wiki-way, as you say.

Maybe we could call it diffrently, maybe selected proposals or whatever, if the word "featured" does not suit you. I was already thinking of it even before this discussion began. Its only a matter of choice.
