Interesting

Thanks for your comments. When we started this wiki, we made a conscious decision to welcome all users here and provide them with the basic information about how to navigate. One of the complaints often laid against some wikimedia wikis is that they are not warm and welcoming communities. I'm proud to say that we are doing well toward building a supportive community - and from that foundation the rest can grow. Without it, all the constructive comments in the world won't make a difference, because there will be no one there to hear them.

I think if you check my contributions, you'll see that I do a healthy dose of "other" work, besides welcoming. But regardless, thanks for your comments, and I'll bear them in mind. Philippe Beaudette, Facilitator, Strategic Plan - WMF.
