Ways to help out

• We need a "proposal of the day" system that we can link to the main page. Anyone want to take that on?

I added a simple Proposal of the day on Template:Participate, wich will be in the new main page. This is a simple list of 31 proposals, one for each day of the monthy. I added a few random proposals for the next few days. HenkvD 19:08, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

Converting and Uploading Interviews

As a way of bringing new, important voices into the conversation, the Bridgespan Group has been interviewing a number of people. Their notes are in Microsoft Word format. We need help converting those notes into wiki pages. See Strategic Planning:Uploading interviews for a basic guide for doing this.

Write, edit and research:

• Edit and comment on Where should Wikimedia go?
• improve a proposal
• merge proposals (merge list)
• expand, comment on and edit the papers at the Fact base

Rate and discuss:

• rate proposals (see Template:Impact)
• discuss proposals

Categorize and collect:

• Links to strategic planning report pages, key questions and proposals need to be added to the appropriate task force pages. (In turn, it should probably be noted somewhere - on the talk page - when a proposal has been added to a task force list).

Promote

• Select text for CentralNotice (Process/Call for proposals CentralNotice)
• the Call for volunteers is still open; this needs to be promoted to many communities
